I have to import the music onto her computer using the Join CD Tracks feature, burn the completed import to a disk, then import that disk into my own Macbook Pro. ![]() I understand why it might be difficult to create a NEW feature, but in this case we're just asking Apple to restore a feature that used to work fine, and still appears on-screen (albeit grayed out!)įor now I've been taking the long-way home - I have access to my mom's older Mac, which is still running some ancient OS version. This one is sort of a mystery to me (as an amateur who does not code). I reopened the support case a couple weeks ago and was assured that they are working on it. They had me send them screen recordings, plus records from some sort of official Apple data gathering app they directed me to. Does anybody have an opinion about my fears? In this case: transforming a bunch of CD’s into a playable audiobook on my Apple devices. Every time there’s an upgrade, the old process must be supplanted by new steps, but usually it is still possible to effect the same results. Like Pooh, when it comes to matters technological, I am that “Bear of little brain.” My method is learning the steps of a process as explained to me and repeating with each use. ![]() Unfortunately, turingtest2, I can’t understand the advice offered in those articles. ![]()
